Three members of South Korean pop group NCT members, Mark, Doyoung and Johnny, have apologized for their reactions to an earthquake alert during a live broadcast for their just lately launched album.
On December 14, NCT held a live broadcast on YouTube titled “NCT Universe Countdown Live.” At round 5:19 p.m. KST, somebody obtained an emergency alert on their cellular phone warning of a magnitude 4.9 earthquake simply off the coast of Jeju Island. After seeing the alert, Mark, Doyoung, and Johnny reacted by singing and dancing to the music ‘Earthquake,’ one in all NCT’s B-side tracks from Universe. Afterwards, Mark, Doyoung, and Johnny took to their private Instagram accounts to post apologies for their actions. On November 13, NCT introduced their third group mission, NCT 2021, with their third studio album Universe which releases on December 14. The album consists of 13 songs, together with the lead singles Universe (Let’s Play Ball), which pre-released on December 10, ‘Beautiful.’ Universe surpassed greater than 1.7 million pre-orders on the day of launch, breaking their earlier report of 1.1 million pre-orders for NCT 2020 Resonance.
