Keerthy Suresh does conquer Sarkaru Vaari Paata, but not only with her acting mettle, rather her ‘conning skills.’ Yes, Keerthy plays a con woman in the film and unlike others, is gusty enough to con Mahesh Babu. Backed by her corrupt father, she threatens him with dire consequences after she fails to repay a borrowed amount. You wouldn’t want to miss Keerthy as a sweet-spoken and pretty-looking con woman.

Actor Samuthirakani, known for his diverse roles in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, is seen as a haughty and arrogant MP and industrialist – Rajendranath. He is shown as the typical protective father of the lead character Kalaavathi (Keerthy Suresh). With anger in his eyes and pride on his face, Rajendranath proves he is the villain of SVP. Be his verbal spats or fights with Mahi, Samuthirakani tries to make everyone believe that there’s no one better than him. Samuthirakani absorbs the character so well, that after a point even you’re angry at him.

Actors are the face of the film, but directors and producers are the brains behind. While a director shows the path, producers believe in the film. In this case, Sarkaru Vaari Paata is very lucky. SVP’s ship is backed by some talented captains. The film has a strong backbone with Parasuram holding the directors’ chair, and the who’s who coming together to finance it. Touted as one of the best directors, Parasuram has aptly conveyed the film’s message with incredible visuals. On the other hand, Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta have produced the film.

A good supporting cast is important to push a film’s narrative ahead. Without them, the story feels somewhat incomplete. Sarkaru Vaari Paata has an exceptional supporting cast which includes Vennela Kishore (Mahi’s friend), Sowmya Menon (Kalaavathi’s friend) Nadhiya (Senior Bank Official Rajakumari) and Subbaraju (Rajendranath’s brother-in-law) play supporting roles. Among others, the most-talked about is a song added to the film 10 days after its release, Murari Vaa. Murari Vaa tugs at your heartstrings with its catchy music, especially the flute and violin score, that makes the experience all the more special. With an exquisite backdrop, Mahesh and Keerthy catch eyeballs with their vibrant outfits and sizzling chemistry. The beautiful choreography and the actor’s coordination are as smooth as butter.
Murari Vaa has some easy-to-do dance steps that will make viewers want to put on their dancing shoes too! Sung by Sruthi Ranjani, Sri Krishna, M L Gayatri, and written by Anantha Sriram, Murari Vaa has become one of the favourite love songs of recent times.

National Award-winning actor Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie ‘SIR’ is being mounted on a high budget with lavish production values and is all set for theatrical release on February 17, 2023.
The film’s first single ‘Mastaaru Mastaaru’ in Telugu, and ‘Vaa Vaathi’ in Tamil (both composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and sung by Shweta Menon), was released by the makers a few days ago and they received a good response.
Directed by Venky Alluri, SIR also features Samyuktha Menon. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani and Narra Srinivas essay supporting roles. It is being made by leading production house Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.
Some time back, the makers released the teaser of the movie that shows Dhanush as a junior lecturer and it also got a humongous response.

Vikram Vedha Makers Pushkar & Gayatri Come Up Tamil Crime Thriller Series ‘Vadhandhi’
Following up on success of their critically acclaimed ‘Suzhal – The Vortex’, Pushkar and Gayatri have come up with an edge-of-the-seat Tamil crime thriller, ‘Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie’. The eight-episode thriller produced by Pushkar and Gayatri under their banner Wallwatcher Films, has been created by Andrew Louis.
“Crime as a genre is something that brings out the art of storytelling in its most raw and natural form. With Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie, our intent is to completely capture the audiences’ imagination, and question societal biases. This story will not only entertain audiences, but will also make them ponder, long after the credits roll,” said Pushkar and Gayatri, creative producers of the series.
“It was wonderful collaborating with writer-director-creator Andrew Louis, with whom we shared a common vision, to create this enthralling crime thriller,” they said.
Prime Video, Thursday announced the global premiere of the Amazon Original series on December 2.
Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals, Prime Video, said: “Following the overwhelming response to Suzhal – The Vortex, we believe that Vadhandhi – our second collaboration with Pushkar and Gayatri, further strengthens our regional content slate. This raw, atmospheric and heartbreakingly gorgeous thriller has been skilfully written and directed by Andrew Louis.”
Much like its title ‘Vadhandhi’ which means rumours, the show delves into the world of young and beautiful Velonie, played by debutante, Sanjana, whose story is riddled with rumours. A troubled but determined cop, played by S.J. Suryah, finds himself caught in the web of lies but is hell bent on finding the truth. The rich and layered tapestry of the small town makes the fable of Velonie even more complex but enigmatic. The show also features an ensemble cast including celebrated actors like Laila, M. Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Kumaran, and Smruthi Venkat in pivotal roles.
The eight-episode thriller will also be available in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada for Prime members.
